Boat Classes: Limited to traditional wooden boats including: dories & skiffs; fixed seat boats, oars on gunwale; fixed seat boats with outriggers
Course: From Amesbury Town Landing downriver to the green/red can above Whittier Bridge, upriver to a mark near Hatter’s Point, and downriver to finish in front of Lowell’s Boat Shop (about 3 miles)
Tide conditions: High tide at Salisbury Point is 9:05 am. Race will be during the first half of ebb tide. Rowers will be going with the current on the two downriver legs. The upriver leg will be along the south shore, with slower current and help from eddies.
Start time:
Pre-race meeting: 10:30 a.m.
Race Start:11:00 a.m.
